QA Engineer

NASHUA, NH
Position Description        Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product. Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment. Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment, and conducts quality assurance tests. May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality methodologies and utilize quality tools to help drive continuous improvement. Activities and Responsibilities could include: • Quality Assurance Visual Mechanical Inspection (QA VMI) • Production Process Verification (PPV) • First Article Inspections (FAI) • Quality Management Systems Audits • Control of Nonconforming Materials • Documentation / Configuration Analysis and Review • Documentation Preparation for Customer Presentation / Sell Off • Presentation of Product for Customer Acceptance (Sell Off) • Other Quality Related activities as assigned   
Skills Required  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technology, and from zero to eight (0-8) years of experience. • Strong and Demonstrated Communication Skills (written, verbal, visual) and interpersonal skills (listening and communicating within a group/team environment) • Demonstrated teamwork contribution • Ability to work independently and with little or no direct oversight • Attention to detail • Produce high quality work in a fast paced, dynamic environment • Proficient in MS Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint   
Skills Preferred • Hands on experience in a Defense Electronics Prime Contract Environment • Active Secret Clearance               
Experience Required      Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technology, and from zero to eight (0-8) years of experience.
