Seeking an experienced Product Support/ Logistics Engineer to support advanced electronic systems design/development and long-term production/sustainment programs. The right candidate will be a self-starter that is versed in logistics planning and documentation requirements surrounding product life cycle support requirements for system architectures. They will possess a sound foundation of skills derived from hands-on technical logistics engineering experience and be knowledgeable of current DoD acquisition and sustainment strategies.
Skills Required • Demonstrated experience in performing technical ILS engineering tasks on DoD Product Support programs • Clear understanding of the requirements necessary for identifying and developing Logistics Product Data (LPD) elements and the ability to communicate those requirements to other stakeholders (Customer, program team, subcontractors etc.) • Ability to identify the data elements required to obtain and incorporate LPD using 1388-2A/B and GEIA standards for provisioning materials, developing Level of Repair Analyses (LORA)s using the COMPASS program, creating Support Equipment Requirements Documents, developing spares recommendations etc. • Clear understanding of sources required for data mining (Design drawings, schematics, product specifications etc.)
Skills Preferred • Good working knowledge of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Product Safety requirements and concepts to ensure emphasis is placed on designing for high levels of supportability and availability during development early in the DoD Acquisition lifecycle • Ability to perform analyses using SESAME and OPUS-10 • Hands-on experience with Logistics tools such as, SLICWave and Eagle • Familiarity with principles of Contractor Logistics Support and Performance Based Logistics • Expertise in the use of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for engineering records • Familiarity with Technical Manuals and Training development requirements. • Ability to obtain SECRET security clearance
Experience Required • 5 years experience using automated tools to develop provisioning documentation associated with product support and logistics engineering data deliverables
Experience Preferred • Experience with modification and development projects • Experience with life cycle sustainment planning and execution.

Education Preferred • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or its equivalent and a minimum of ten (10) years of work experience, or a Master's Degree with eight (8) years of experience.
