Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Overview  is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Inkjet Business Unit in our Londonderry, NH office. What You Will Do: • Work as part of a cross functional team of designers throughout design, development, and delivery of complex HW designs and systems. • Strong understanding of electricity and electronics. • Board and system level electrical design. • Experience in high-speed digital circuit design, as well as basic analog circuit design. • High speed FPGA and CPLD design and troubleshooting • Circuit simulation knowledge a plus. • Perform schematic entry and work with PCB designer to guide the board through the layout process. • Must be able and willing to own all aspects of PCB design from start to finish, including interconnect specification as well as integration into the system. • Design experience with embedded microprocessors and other programmable devices to interface to electromechanical systems a plus. • Firmware experience a plus • Experience with troubleshooting techniques of electromechanical systems as well as PCBAs down to the component level. • Oscilloscope, DVM & other electronic tool operation. • Function as part of a team environment, with strong communication skills. • Give appropriate task direction to technicians and designers when needed. • Deal with fast changing environment and multiple priorities. • Provide critical support of released hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle. This Role Might be a Good Fit if You: • BSEE or equivalent degree from an accredited school. • 10+ years of experience in electrical design and product development. • Self-starter willing to drive group development. • Strong experience with system and board level development and debug. • Familiarity with specifying and executing DVT plans. • Experience with the creation of technical documentation (board and system level documentation, test plans, etc.). • Experience with AGILE highly desirable. • Experience with Mentor Graphics DX Designer (a.k.a PADS Designer, a.k.a. Viewdraw) highly desirable. • Experience with LTSPICE circuit simulation tool a plus. • Experience with Verilog and/or System Verilog RTL for FPGA development and validation a plus. • Experience with Intel (formerly Altera) Quartus Prime (including QSYS Platform Designer) a plus. • Experience with Mentor Modelsim RTL simulation
