Inventory Management/Material Handling Coordinates the verification, inspection, and receipt of incoming material to ensure timely delivery to designated areas. Compares accompanying paperwork against contents and original purchasing records to confirm that the proper items have been received and inputs verification of same. Visually checks all incoming material to verify quantity and for any damage to package or contents. Documents missing or damaged parts and completes necessary paperwork. Prepares and verifies assembly kits to meet pre-scheduled release dates using pick list. Selects stock using first in-first out system, checks and records solderability date, vendor date code (when required) and quantity issued. Interfaces with materials and production personnel to resolve materials shortages. Responds to requests for materials needed for engineering or production programs, works from computerized reports. Ensures that materials are properly packaged or repackaged per required special handling specifications. Labels and stocks in specified bins or fills back-order requirements, both for the assembly floor or kits in process. As necessary, ability to work with small complex parts within a clean room environment and use special handling tools (vacuum release stations, vacuum pick-up tools, microscopes, etc.). Repackaging of MMIC’s from Gel Packs to Waffle Packs Delivers completed assembly kits or point of use (POU) material to designated areas and if required, releases to work-in-process (WIP) Performs cycle count audits and physical inventories. Audits inventory records for accuracy on a regular basis. Checks actual stock against amounts recorded. Ensures that all required materials are properly identified with safety information and handling labels in conformance with Company and OSHA guidelines. Requires a High School education and a minimum of 2-3 years of related experience. Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time. Basic understanding of PC applications preferred experience Oracle. Experienced with handling and repackaging MMIC’s and other sensitive electronic devices. May be required to hold government clearance. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
Microwave experience and handling of MMIC's and other small preferred. Oracle
