Position Description:

Experience:

Have good mechanical and diagnostic skills in troubleshooting and repair of production machinery including Rivet, Eyelet, punch press, molding machines, and other production machinery.

Skills:

Electrical, HVAC, Industrial Wiring, Machinery upkeep. Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.

Duties

90% of job requires standing, mobility to move around the manufacturing / production area, and the ability to conduct normal amount of work on a computer. You will be required to walk and move around, use hands to feel, touch, grasp, or grip tools, objects, or handles.

. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs

· Periodically required to perform repetitive movements

· Regularly use mechanical controls including buttons, knobs, levers, cranks, and pedals in performance of a function.

· Frequently required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials.

· The employee is required to reach overhead with hands and arms, rotate body from sitting and standing position, and lift and carry weight up to 50lbs.

Responsible for general building and equipment maintenance in keeping with all state and local building, electrical, and plumbing codes. As well as, emptying waste cans, replenishing paper products, clean windows. Other related work at the discretion of the Maintenance Supervisor

Standards of Performance:

• Responsible for maintaining quality and safety.

• Responsible for complying with State and Federal Standards and the OSHA regulations with regard to Electrical and Mechanical operations.

• Maintain and troubleshoots all production machinery including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

 

Education

Two years or more of technical training, or equivalent
